I believe in the importance of leadership in any area. The versatility of leadership qualities in todays society only increases its importance.
I have seen first hand how leadership has helped students excell and wish to spread and instill this confidence and responsibility to young students. With our technology-dependent world, many people are unaware of our polluted surroundings.
For this reason, I have chosen to focus on teaching young students leadership in the environment so that they can sustain the environment that we live in.

During school I lead the ASB class in leading and planning all school functions. Communication, responsibility and organizational skills are some of the positive effects of leadership. Seeing student leaders grow to their full potential is what motivates me to be an even better leader myself.
On the weekends I volunteer as a junior coach for a program called Girls on the Run that focuses on active habits and boosting the self-esteem of growing young girls. Praising students and teaching them healthy habits boosts their confidence levels and allows them to thrive.

My Mission

Every Wednesday of the month I visit Porter Ranch Community school for 2 hours to teach the students the planned activities in environmental leadership. Activities incorporate their imagination and emphasize their opinions.

On the weekends, I volunteer at Tree People events in the area. As a supervisor, I have had training to properly oversee and assist others in preserving the environment. My volunteer work helps me to build suitable gardens with the garden club at Porter Ranch Community School.
